Adventuring Tips With Big Kliff McDuffer #2 - FUCK ALL BEES

I don't like bees, they're stingy and irritating and they get everywhere...

Here's the thing about bees. They are important for stuff. Nature, and what have you. I've heard the guy from Jurassic Park talking about it. Actually, it was his brother, the guy who's always knocking about the place bothering animals and talking about them as though they're humans.

However, as much as bees are important (allegedly), bees are also kind of bastards, and they will sting you if you mess with them or their houses, or their treasure (honey).

In a game as big and mad as Crimson Desert, you would be forgiven for never expecting to even have to consider bees, I mean, you've got many bigger and more worrying foes to face here.

But that's been a mistake, mate. And now you're going to pay. You see, the bees in Crimson Desert are a nightmare. An almost invisible nightmare. They swarm you and sting you and sap your health in a sustained attack that makes it hard to even drink some health potion without getting a sting on your tongue. Sort of thing.

"You a fuckin' bee, mate, is it?'

Myself and big Kliff McDuff have encountered bees on our adventures several times now, and we've found that the only way to deal with them, once they're in the mix and attacking you - and if running away isn't an option for whatever reason - USE FIRE. Nothing else works. Running away is Kliff's preferred method. I'm more of stand my ground fire legend. But he's Scottish, so it's to be expected that the shitebag in him would come out eventually.

Now, a little bit of further - and almost useful - information. Bees can have the sting taken out of them entirely by picking up a beekeeper's suit, the crafting blueprint for which can be nabbed by researching at the Scholastone Institute in the game's Hernand region. Phew!

Anyway, yeah. Bees. I've hated them ever since one of them attached itself to the underside of my schoolbag handle in primary school and stung me when I lifted it. BASTARDS. ALL OF THEM.

bastards
